Using Photography in your Space Art

I've been really getting into landscape photography over the past few months. I've gotten lots of really great images from the area I live. I wanted to do something a little different with some of those shots so I decided to try using one in a space image. I used a photo I took of Red Rock Canyon outside of Las Vegas,NV recently and started drawing and layering my spacescape over top of it. There isn't really a specific story behind this image but it was something I was inspired to create. I haven't done one in awhile and was really feeling the bug.
